The Ancient Jewel Grindstone is a Structure craftable only by Wonder Why in the Wonder Why Filter, Prototypers & Stations Filter and Structures Filter. It requires 4 Gold Nuggets, 2 Moon Rock Walls and 1 Pitchfork to craft.

If any character gets near the structure it will do the "proximity/working" animation even if they can't craft at it.

Crafting Recipes

The Ancient Jewel Grindstone offers 9 Grinder Crafting recipes, all of them need the Broken Ancient Crank to be made but the crank will only use 5% durability for each craft.

You can't prototype from this machine/tab and each craft will give you an extra Gem Shards.

Tips

• Before going to the Ruins it is recommended to get a Refined Purple Gem to make the Divine Globe Clock in 1 trip. You can either make it at the surface or by bringing a prototyped Ancient Jewel Grindstone and a Broken Ancient Crank to the Ruins then make the Refined Purple Gem at any time before leaving.
• You can use the Gem Shards you get from refining gems to make your first Face of Denial.

• The Ancient Jewel Grindstone was introduced in the first release of the mod, Old new dreams 1.0 [ACT 1] update.
• The Ancient Jewel Grindstone used to be made with 2 Thulecite instead of 2 Gold Nuggets but that changed in the Endurance! 1.7 [ACT 2] update. This change was made so you could make it before going to the Ancient Archive or the Ruins.
